This is a most perfect and sky-reaching masterpiece of pop in a special mode, deep in dark water, escaped with brain cell dope, high flight to sweet places you will soon love going, and a pocket full of jingles that will never leave you.  My first impressions, unlikely to go wayward continue to stand in stone.

This is an example of in deep pop to a region of rebirth from the 60's brought to a new frontier. The inclusion of one name will convince serious listeners: Crayola Lectern (Chris Anderson and friends from think-tank brilliance of CARDIACS - master Tim Smith RIP, Lost Horizons, Departure Lounge). Mark Peters (Engineers); Co-produced by Richard Archer of Hard-Fi. 'Afters' also features guests Simon Raymonde (Cocteau Twins) & Thomas Anderson (Gazpacho).

The main creatures of the project are Mark Morriss of The Bluetones and Billy Reeves of 'theaudience'. A contrast of warm and dark, or perhaps more a collaboration of those, the quick to befriend you pop is addictive upon first listen. It becomes inescapable after that. Need I say more? A not to be missed recording!! The experience of full attention (deep listening) is far beyond anything I can say further. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
